Blessed and amazed, this magical experience is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will never occur again.
Egypt is indeed a magical and enchanting land, steeped in history and adorned with wonders that captivate the heart and mind. The majestic pyramids of Giza rise dramatically against the desert sky, standing as timeless monuments to the ingenuity of ancient civilizations. Their grandeur evokes a sense of mystery, drawing visitors from around the globe to witness their splendor.
Took a 4-hour private flight from London City Airport to Cairo International Airport, took a 45-minute drive to our hotel, St. Regis Cairo Hotel located at the heart of the metropolis, overlooking the Nile river and old Cairo city. After settling in and we took a quick Japanese lunch in one of the hotel’s restaurant. What other cuisine we will be missing in this trip, but the Japanese right?
Our first stop was the Saqqara Pyramid and Serapeum, Egypt is hot and at the same time, the coolest architecture and history there is. Saqqara is home to the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser, which dates back to around 2670 BC. It’s a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture, designed by the brilliant architect Imhotep. Can you believe this was the first monumental stone building in history?
Close to where the pyramids were, is the Serapeum, located nearby, adds another layer of intrigue with its mysterious underground galleries housing sacred bulls. Each corner of Saqqara tells a story of the past, waiting for you to uncover its secrets.

The first stop had already us in awe, second stop was even more special and mindblowing. We had an after-visit of the Pyramin Giza including the temple of the Sphinxes paws and the interior of the Great Pyramid.
A massive scale structure; tanding at over 480 feet tall, it was the tallest man-made structure for over 3,800 years! Looks way more bigger in reality! With its intriguing Interiors Inside, you can explore the grand chambers and passageways, which are just as awe-inspiring as the exterior.
It’s one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and a UNESCO World Heritage site!
So, pack your bags and get ready for an adventure that will leave you in awe of human history! This is a journey you won’t want to miss!

I used to see the Great Sphinx only in cartoon movies, often depicted as a female lion resting. When I finally saw her in person, her beauty felt surreal, radiating magnificently as the sun began to set. It was truly a breathtaking sight.
This incredible monument has been standing tall for over 4,500 years! Can you believe it?! Built during Pharaoh Khafre’s reign around 2500 BCE, it’s not just a massive statue; it’s a symbol of ancient Egypt’s mystery and power! 💪
Originally, the Sphinx was covered in shiny limestone, making it sparkle in the sun! ✨ But time has changed its appearance—erosion and vandalism have taken their toll. Still, it stands proud, drawing millions of visitors each year! How cool is that?!

In ancient Egypt, this majestic figure wasn’t just a statue; it served as a guardian of the Giza Plateau and played a HUGE role in the beliefs of the time. People thought it protected the pharaohs in the afterlife! By the time the Romans rolled around, the Sphinx had become a legend, inspiring stories and art that we still cherish today! 🖼️
Today, the Great Sphinx remains a MUST-SEE for anyone curious about history! It’s a fantastic reminder of the incredible achievements of ancient builders and Egypt’s rich cultural heritage! So, if you get the chance, go check it out! You won’t regret it!
What a fantastic first day! 🎉 It was hot, tiring, and absolutely exhausting, but every moment was worth it! Now, we’re looking forward to sinking into those comfy beds at the Ritz! 🛏️✨ Can’t wait for more adventures ahead!
Second day! Second day of another great adventure. Woke up with a view of the Nile river and was wondering what will be our very first egyptain breakfast looks like. Obviously, I saw dates everywhere , I was quite happy with that along with their huge selection of breakfast.
Today was the day we visit the Museum of Egypt, and another surprise unfolds before we leave Cairo and head to Aswan 😊
We had the privilege to do a private tour of the museum that houses over 120,000 remarkable artifacts. Among these are the renowned treasures of Tutankhamun, including his exquisite gold mask and various intriguing burial items. Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to explore impressive statues, beautiful pottery, dazzling jewelry, and mummies from various dynasties. This collection was indeed remarkable. Although there were some artifacts and pieces that we were not allowed to take photos of, if caught. 😊

The highlight of my Cairo trip was, tadaaah, flying high above the Great Pyramid of Egypt and the Saqqara pyramid! What an unforgettable experience! The vast landscape and the breathtaking view from above left me in awe! I couldn’t believe how the bricks were strategically stacked! Just incredible! 😍

Wow! What an amazing few days in Cairo, Egypt! It’s truly a dream come true—something I could only imagine in my childhood! There’s so much beauty and wonder in this world, and despite the history and controversy, I can confidently say that Egypt is a must-visit destination in this lifetime! 🕌
Aswan, we’re coming to see you! 💙⚡️
