-Pret scenarios, circumstances, how you eventually took a ride, and your life. We all have better ways of living, and I think the best way to do this is to know what makes you feel good. Yesterday, I celebrated my early birthday with my close friends, whom I consider family. I wanted to celebrate my birthday with them.

It’s that only day I can do things that give me a sense of “ah, this is life”. From the simplest things that give me pleasure, and by pleasure, I mean undisturbed silence, not wearing my watch on this specific day, letting the time go smoothly, enjoying my subway sandwich in that little corner, having my caramel macchiato in Starbucks, and writing this blog. I’m not a fan of Starbucks itself, but I love only one drink, caramel macchiato, so I picked to have one today.
Knowing what you want and what makes you feel good is the ultimate ride of your life. Forget age, numbers, and years; it is synonymous with looking at the gas meter while taking a scenic ride. Glance once or twice, take the pit stop for a break or stop when needed, or take a different route when the road seems boring or not what you want. To make the trip more meaningful, take someone with you, or better yet, do it solo.
No matter how long the ride takes, and sometimes it’s no longer the ride you want, you can always drive back home, to yourself.
