1 luggage and the rest is history

Do you know how some stories end up funny, and some end up the least they expected? Those are stories that I love to hear: stories of unfortunate circumstances and events that turned out right or well, if not better. I still recall that day when I got asked to tag along for a small dinner at my sister’s company.  It was my first time with the authentic Thai people enjoying their culture. They are warm, bubbly, fun, friendly and most of all damn they sure know how to drink and they eat a lot. It was their definition of fun and enjoying life.

Who would have thought that night would be when I would start a new, interesting life here in Thailand? Yes, I got my job over a very chilled and funky dinner, and to make it more fun, I started the next day after. 🙂 As months went by, I gained new knowledge and new friends. I was able to love this country and be comfortable with it; that comfort is the right word to be happy when you eat and enjoy life the Thai way. 🙂 Meeting incredible people from work who have become part of your daily life is a treasure. Few special people will be a part of you because they are nothing but a family.

This is also where I got to change the past that I left and turned my back from. Most say I am lucky; maybe I was, but perhaps it was fate. All planned out for me. No matter where the direction stirs you, these are the things in life you cannot control. No matter how we plan life the way we want it to be, it will not always turn out how we wanted it. Not all we want, we can have. But amidst all the rejection, disappointment, hurt, and unfortunate and terrible events in your life, there will always be something good that awaits you. Trust me.

It’s all about the positivity and how we take and look at life. Life is getting shorter daily; don’t let one circumstance ruin your existence. Be thankful..Godspeed 🙂
